French Cabbage Salad recipe

Ingredients:

1 medium cabbage, shredded.
¼ lb of bacon.
2 cups of onion, chopped.
1 clove garlic, chopped.
½ cup of white wine tarragon vinegar.

Directions:

Cut the bacon into tiny bits, then fry in a large frying pan. Remove and reserve the bacon bits once they are crisp.

Chop the the onion and garlic, then fry them in the bacon fat. Once they have browned, pour in the vinegar.

Bring just up to a simmer, then add all the shredded cabbage and bacon.

Toss to mix.

Serve.
